This is the next in the Art Work we are considering for T-Shirt production.
This is a rough so there are a couple of glitches already being corrected, but what to you think?

Thanks in advance Tom

Good but I think the planes too big and you have too many differing fonts which makes
the text less noticable.
scale down the aircraft and make the text prominent [ remember thats the most important message]

No more than I Jerry
I think it is more a case of those visiting our gift shop are shall we say…
“cost challenged”
Other areas may have different results to be honest.

That’s a great question and I am happy to share what I have learned.
We have had our gift shop as long as the facility has been operating, over 20 years, and we have tried many variations of products and test marketed a number of new concepts.
It all breaks down to what people are willing to pay.
Across the age range the market for Polo style shirts and such just is not there in sufficient numbers to justify carrying or producing the shirts.
The Polo/Golf shirt style costs about $5.00 CDN each more to produce…people are not willing to pay the extra dollars. When we have tried it we have ended up having to cut price to match the T-Shirts to clear the stock and as you can guess take a loss.
That has been our experience anyway.

I want one,let me know when they are available. Never worked the MK-1,but spent 11 years on the MK-6 and loved it.

Hi
Nice design, not my aircraft of interest tho’.
But I always wonder why it is always T shirts, and never polo shirts, or rugby shirts.
Or am I just getting old…:)
Cheers

Thank you
We take that as very high praise as it is exactly what we are trying to achieve.
I will pass it on to the artist as well!

The artwork looks great and the Mitchell shirt looked impressive as well.
I had been looking around for T-Shirts for Xmas but many that are out there seem pretty uninspiring or have “inappropriate” slogans which don’t really look good on the chest of someone my age so it makes a pleasant change to see some where you have obviously invested time and money in decent artwork.

Looks great Tom ! A pity it isn’t a Mk 6. I would have ordered one if possible.
Well maybe later…CFB Namao, in the Edmonton area, was the OTU on the Sabre fro a period of time and operated the Mk6…but we haven’t got one (yet)
so maybe in the future.
In the meantime…Vintage Wings of Canada www.vintagewings.ca has their “Hawk One” T-Shirts which is their Mk6 in Golden Hawk colours.
Bruggen 130
Can I have one in 130sqd RAF please
Wish I could supply, you would not believe the number of people that would love Sqn specific aircraft/T-shirts…we were getting all kinds of requests before starting this project. The problem is cost of production and art work.
I don’t think you would be willing to pay a few hundred per shirt (lol).

G’ day Tom, 😮 Top stuff very well done!:D
can you do a aussie Sabre ?
Morning (for me lol) Stormbird
Sorry we are only doing the aircraft in our collection.
As ExEdirec I am moving our Gift Shop to reflect our collection very specifically, hence the B-25 Daisy Mae and now our Sabre (which is the only Mk 1) as you can get the high demand stuff like Lancasters and Spitfires from many suppliers.
I feel your pain though which is why we are going this way.
