Recently came across the EAFA website-which has some outstanding film
of Honnington in 1944-showing B26s/B17s/P51s/Noorseman/Stirlings towing Horsas/Daks towing Wacos and so so much more.
Some very sad shots of a huge graveyard of B17s/B24s etc too.
The catalogue also has lots of other aviation related links too which can be found using the search engine.
Type in Air Transport and I almost guarantee-you will spend the entire evening watching the clips

On the same site is this Southend colour film from circa 1962 which includes a superbly filmed view from a takeoff over the ranks of hangers & parked Bristol Freighters in minutes 1 to 3. But turn the sound off if you are not a Johnny Morris fan – ex RAF I believe !

You’re right!
Been on for the last half hour and great shots of the B-29 arriving at Duxford,
as well as Jimmy Stewart visiting with many veterans in 1975, with a pass or two by Haydon Baillie in the Seafury WH589 – OHB.
Loads of very interesting historic footage.
Thanks for the heads up!
Albert
