Memphis Belle ~ unseen footage ?

Have you ever stopped to think about the footage that ended up on the cutting room floor and not in the William Wyler film in WW2 ?

Back in August 2008 I remember having a wonderful chat with Graham Simons at Bassingbourn during the launch of the epic book about the “Belle”.

I best not mention the books name in case that’s deemed to be advertising !

It seems the 8th Air Force camera crew produced around 100 hours of footage and I think I’ve stumbled across some of it today in the Critical Past web site

It looks possible to update the info for each clip and it would add tremendous value over the current generic captions if someone could face such a mammoth task ….. 🙂
