Here’s an interesting bundle of prints which I recently acquired along with some of Short Brothers’ Seaplane Works.
They appear to be from one or more sets used by Aircraft Engineering magazine in about 1939, with fig numbers pencilled on the rear – they aren’t obviously Short Bros. Can anybody identify what they show or where?
Obviously, if anybody has old copies of Aircraft Engineering from that time it would certainly help.

As an educated guess Airspeed plant in Portsmouth.
The engine mounts looks Oxford and a few of the wing ones Mossie.

There’s something Bernard about the wing construction in the first two photos
