Lads, this morning I visited St.Mary’s Church in Byfleet, Surrey looking for the final resting place of John Parry Thomas, I came across this gravestone.
The inscription reads : ‘In loving memory of Richard Harold Barnwell. Born 3 April 1979, killed 25 August 1917 while flying at Joyce Green Aerodrome’.
Now, i’ve never heard of Joyce Green, does anyone have any info?
