“They had a good idea where the wreck was and it’s only 100 feet down.”
No 110 meters ……..approx 350ft

From the diver site linked above…
“Inside, the wreck says Ribeiro, were not only life jackets and oxygen masks to see, but also clothing on passenger seats. The latter were probably passengers death remains According to Michael Thali of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, University of Zurich, it is conceivable that the dead fish and small organisms have eaten the body remains completely. Possible is also a transformation of body fat tissue in wax. Out of respect for the dead, the divers did not penetrate further into the wreck.”
At the risk of being too morbid, you’d think the clothes would be gone/eaten as well.
Odd that the authorities didn’t find the wreck and recover the bodies.

A little bit more information on the diving expedition on this link, may also answer the questions raised about bodies on board:

Was a bad month for Caravelles as two were written off that month.

Did they retrieve the bodies of those who died after the crash I wonder? If not, it is bound to contain the human remains.
Anon.
Judging by the amount of natural light in the video, I wouldn’t have thought it would have been hard for divers to get that deep to recover bodies…
Kind Rgds
