Some photos of a hitherto unknown turkish aircraft has appeared! It is using the engine and undercarriage of the Magister (which was build by THK in Ankara) but appears to be a two-seat version of the aerobatic trainer THK.2.
Look here: http://www.ole-nikolajsen.com/TURKISH%20FORCES%202004/UNKNOWN%20TURKISH%20AIRCRAFT.pdf
Suggestions are VERY welcome, it is not every day a new aircraft type appears 🙂

I’d go along with the Magister too. Here’s a couple of photos from the Turkish Air Force Museum of the Magister and the Ugar for comparison.

It is a Turkish built Magister. A later development was the Ugur with a different canopy and Messier undercarriage.

Looks to me sort of like a M14A Hawk Trainer Coupe – G-AJRT looked similar to these picts, but with cut-down canopies and rear decking for racing.

the tailfin and rear fuselage does not fit for a Magister!
Here is a direct photo:

Looks very much like a Magister with an enclosed canopy glued on to me.

Google seems determined to deem my website unsafe even when other providers and systems say ok for it 🙁
