During a recent Duxford airfield tour mention was made of two Czech airman killed in an air-raid and buried at Whittlesford church.
However visiting Whittlesford church shows no graves for Czech airman (or any airman that fit their description, date, time etc).
So where are these airman buried?

I searched my local cemetery for a CWGC listed grave and with the help of the staff found the standard gravestone had been replaced when his wife was buried there too. Only the cemetery identity number confirmed it.

CWGC graves, Whittlesford
In amongst the usual CWGC headstones in Whittlesford churchyard are at least three Czech graves, two of whom were killed on 25 Feb 41 – my understanding is that a single bomb hit the 310 or 312 Sqn dispersal.
Sorry, no images to hand but googling Czech graves Whittlesford brings up the images and names.
Lots of interesting stories to be told about Duxford’s fallen!
