Hi all, ive been lurking on this forum so i thought it was about time i joined!
Im martin aged 42 going on 12,live in south east kent and work as a car mechanic.
I do have an ulterior motive for joining, im trying to find out about about battle of britain wreck sites local to me that were told to me by my late grandfather who was in the homeguard at the time.
If anyone could tell me if hurricane 3208 was ever recovered and when.
It crashed on the 18th august 1940 and was piloted by p.o j.w. bland who died in the crash,it crashed close to the a28 in sturry kent.
