If, by ‘history’, you mean what aircraft did it belong to, I am not sure that it is possible. Various marks of compass were used on many different aircraft and readily changed from one airframe to another. If the above is incorrect, someone please let me know as I have several AM boxed compasses with no known tail number affiliation.
