I’m trying to better document British bombsights on the Wikipedia. However, information is surprisingly difficult to come by.
I’ve put up an article on the CSBS, but it’s mostly based on the Mk. IX. Does anyone have any information on the Mk. X?
Images would be great as well!

Through some contacts at the RAF Museum and a couple of private collections, I was able to get scans from the chapters of AP1730 covering the Course Setting Bomb Sight. This proved very useful! Unfortunately they do not cover the Mk. X, because it was already removed from use when this was published. The Museum did donate a rather good image of the Mk. X, however, and I’ve put the article up. Just google up “Course Setting Bomb Sight”, the Wiki article should be in the first 5 links somewhere.
I’ve moved on to the Mk. XIV now. This takes up almost 100 pages of the AP1730, so I suspect the entire book must be enormous!
If you do ever make it to Wellington and scan this, my hat is off to you in advance, sir!

Maury
I do not have a copy of this AP. But I found that Archive NZ does. Unfortunately it’s in the main archive in Wellington.
It is on my list of archival documents I wish to get out when I am next down there.
If of course you can not wait and have it digitized please let me know.

You wouldn’t happen to have a copy of Air Publication AP1730A would you? This covers quite a few of these designs and I’d love to read it.

I have lots of info on early bomb sights which I have been thinking of putting up on the wiki. It however is low on my priority list while I digitize all my research papers.
All part of being able to find what I want when I want it.
Will add to the wiki in time on this subject.
