Lovely video. Where was it filmed ?
As Tangmere says, it was filmed out of Duxford with most of the aerial footage being shot with the aircraft flying circles around Comberton, Hardwick and Barton. I was lucky enough to be spending my lunch hour in a layby between Hardwick and Comberton and had the pleasure of watching them going around and around and around – its a hard life sometimes…….:D

Some stunning air-to-airs have just been sent to me by the photographer.
I cannot post them, but hopeful we can use them for the book.
Equally, a lot of ‘unused’ video material must exist with the cameraman. I am trying to see what can be done, but don’t expect it freely in the public domain anytime soon.

Fantastic bit of film. It just looks so…. “right”.
Got to be one of my top 5 warbirds of all time.

This is a wonderful story. Congratulations and well done to all concerned, puts me in mind of a couple of air to air sorties I did from Cambridge with R4118 a few years ago. Marvellous and unforgettable.

From Duxford, and then somewhere out to the west of Duxford.
