RNAS St Merryn / HMS Vulture old pictures

Hi

Being a Cornish-man and interested in aviation, I am naturally interested in aviation in Cornwall!

To that end, does anyone have any pictures of FAA aircraft operating from St Merryn? I’ve seen a few in books and one or two on the web – there was a picture taken at St Merryn of former RNHF Sea Fury TF956 that was posted on this forum a few years ago but it seems to have disappeared now!

I love looking at old aircraft pictures taken on now disused airfields and with Google Earth/Street views etc, it is now quite possible to see where the pictures were taken and do a bit of then & now comparison, hence the reason for this post.

I promise the pictures are for my own personal use and won’t be published anywhere else etc!
