I recently acquired these wonderful pieces of Zeppelin memorabilia. Can anyone tell me more about them? Would the plate have hung in a building or been carried on the airship itself? It’s diameter is 45 cms. The cigarette box tells most of it’s own story but I would also like to know if these were given to the passengers on the Hindenburg for its inaugural North American trip, or were intended for other recipients.
