Another potential data plate restoration?

What could I make from this then? An entire airscrew factory? This was unearthed during some recent excavations at Gloucestershire Airport, Staverton. Joking aside, if any Dowty officianados can identify this, I’ll be highly impressed!
It says The Dowty Group Machine Number 5780.

There’s also a big pile of rubble on the airfield that needs a good searching through…

I’m up & down Bamfurlong lane & pass Stav. a couple of times a week . I notice quite a lot of work going on , with new buildings & Entrance Drive …could be quite a lot of stuff lurking in the substrate ??

I have a Do-17e plate.

I am sure some Spaniards would like to make something out of that one. 😉
