Past in the present

Some photo’s from a couple of sites not far from Norwich that are a good way to spend a couple of hours at,these being Flixton aviation museum and the remains of the world war two airfield at Hardwick where Mr.Hammond operates some restored WWII aircraft from.
I managed to catch the pair of Mustangs as they returned from Shoreham air show and the Texan flying around probably giving some one a pleasure flight.As for Flixton I always enjoy my visits there as it’s peaceful,thought provoking about the things you see on display and most of all if the electric is on:)the canteen inside the main hangar makes a nice cup of coffee and home made cakes.
The feel of the place and some of the displays can take you right back to your early beginning’s and interest in aviation from some of the well displayed bits and pieces from badges to making models….
