C-GLVC has been damaged in a forced landing in Ontario.
”An 82-year-old pilot suffered only minor injuries after his Spitfire plane crashed in a field in Clarington, Ont., on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the pilot was the only person on board at the time of the crash at 1:30 p.m., and that he is being treated at a hospital in Bownmanville. His name hasn’t been disclosed.”

I think this aeroplane may be operated by a forum member- Best Wishes of course, regardless.

Personally I am a fan of the homebuild aircraft, especially warbird types, and this one looks brilliant; ( in the photo) best wishes to the pilot.

I’m not a great fan of these replicas, but I have to say that this one looks very good indeed and from a distance must be very convincing.
Hope the pilot recovers quickly from his injuries..

Dunno about the pilot, but the builder was a chap called Ross Ferguson. He spent years on the project, building virtually everything himself.
The engine on this one is, I think, a small block Chevy V8, but I’d have to have a look for the articles again.
I hope it’s not been badly damaged, as this is a stunning little aeroplane.
