The Blackburn Beverley thread has prompted me to ask. Some years back an old workmate of mine told a story about when he was serving in I think he said the Far East about a Blackburn Beverley being used to ‘bomb’ the old CO(?) with Toilet rolls as he was heading back to the UK. Anyone have any more details or was this just a yarn? Anyone know of any more similar stories like this?

Don’t know about that one but I’ve heard other similar tales of one station clearing out all the toilet rolls of another and returning them via an airdrop.
