Its at White Waltham right now, departing 16.00 or so.

Different time zone – I saw a ‘tweet’ to say it had landed at EK on Friday pm! 🙂

At about 16.30 Friday 5th inst, I saw a PBY flying boat, flying directly South to North. Unmistakeable.Over Spalding, Lincolnshire.

Must have taken the scenic route. It was rolling down Duxford’s runway at 14.14 😀

I’m fuming, I wanted to go but public transport is non existant. Usually I would walk the 12 miles (6 to and from Spilsby) to EK without any problems as I have done since her first taxi run. I’m not well. In 1996 I hitched a lift in a Kubelwagen – belting along in it was amazing, ah memories.

Turns out I could have had a lift today 🙁

Hi Twin Otter 23. Many thanks, its many many yrs since I saw one. Thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Great shame I didnt put the question on here the day I saw it. Kirkby is just up the road from me , and could have gone and seen it.
