Photo report B-24 crew honored at Cheddington!

Thought I would share this link to a wonderful series of photos taken at a ceremony at Cheddington , to honor a crew of a B-24 “Beast of Bourbon “, that crashed on take off killing several members of the crew. Looks like a very moving ceremony and several US Eighth vets returned , also one vet in the 508th PIR 82nd Airborne Division was in attendance as his brother was in the Eighth ! A most moving and powerful set of photos to honor and remember these men for their service .
It shows again the close and strong bonds of friendship formed by many during the war years between the Eighth & the peoples of The United Kingdom !

This is the site devoted to the study and history of the famed 101st Screaming Eagles Airborne Division … Trigger Time created by historian & author Mark Bando !
