I have now managed to assemble all the parts needed to fit the Hunter F.4 with the Mod 502 bits – basically these are the Aileron and Elevator emergency selector switches.
The problem I have is that the decal plate I have is from the Swiss variant, so wish to re-word it, after filling and painting it. The switches for Mod 502 fit on the lower LH side of the main flying panel, and are a pair of standard pushbuttons, a-la Canberra relight buttons.
Attached is a photo of the decal plate. I don’t need a translation because the wording for the Swiss Hunters is somewhat dissimilar to the UK versions, and I’ve already done it. What I need is a photo of, or the correct and accurate wording/spacing for the UK version of this mod. None of my F.4 and early F.6 cockpit photo’s show this wording clearly, and the pilots notes are worse, being in B&W.
Any assistance gratefully received, but please don’t ‘speculate’ as to what it should say, I need to know exactly what the English version says.
