😀 Some good news today from English Heritage. I have received letters to say two building at RAF Davidstow Moor have been given listed building status – the Bomb Aimer Instruction Building and the Turret Instruction Building. The Control Tower is being considered separately. Both buildings are included on the tour given by the Davidstow Airfield and Cornwall at War Museum.

I don’t know what may be planned for these buildings but this should at least give protection from the proposed wind turbine development which still rumbles on under appeal.

More interestingly what are the plans for these buildings complete overhaul or?

Excellent news Anne, for me no place on earth has an atmosphere like Davidstow, be it in thick North Cornish drizzle or a beautiful August sunset.
I will be surprised if the watch office doesn’t now get the same status.
