In my travels I have acquired a set of 4 coloured Main rotor blade Tip Reflectors for a helicopter.
The internal box is marked
Drg No. H12-88-1379.
ISS.2
REF. MOD 8039A
CON. No. KK/N/022?CB25 (a)
MAIN ROTOR BLADE
TIP REFLECTORS
The packaging is dated 1965.
Anyone know which 4 bladed helicopter from the 60’s they were used on ?

Or a man with a flag and several chinagraphs, before we went strobe 🙂
Worst one I watched was a man doing a seaking tail rotor, was like a broom shape with the material between two bars at either end, he walked up to the tail rotor and lifted it up into it……

Wessex would have tended to be 26WX and Puma 525MM as section number.
The look like they were possibly used for blade tracking.

Only guessing at Wessex, Scout or Wasp. Bit too early for Puma.
