Just picked this up from TFC:

“The Horsemen, are to fly the remaining 2011 air show season as a two-ship team with pilots Dan Friedkin and Ed Shipley. The Horsemen will continue to fly their precision, surface level aerobatic display using P-51 Mustangs and F8F Bearcats, plus a few surprises.

Team member Steve Hinton stated, “The Horsemen hold ourselves to an exacting standard of formation aerobatics. We all felt the three-ship’s demanding off-season training goals needed more time to refine.” Hinton added, “The team looks forward to getting the three-ship back in the air when the time and circumstances are right.”

A pity but two is still better than none.:)
