Hi guys.
Just wanted my post number 1000 to be in the place I feel most comfortable being in and thats the historics section.
1000 is not that big a number compared to others that have been here a lot shorter time than me but I only post when I really have something to add. And you guys are either so good or so quick with the info that I rarely have to bother. LOL
Well this thread is not just all about post 1000 even though the title says just that.
Me and my mate have posted a couple of licence applicatons through to the MOD to see if we can do a couple of digs this year. One a Beaufighter and one other that I cant discuss right now.
The Beaufighter we have the location and all we need to do is await the licence. We will probably do the dig over the period of a couple of weekends and then file the final forms back.
We will keep you posted and pictures will follow.
Hopefully we will have some nice finds to show you all.

We are hoping to get down for a couple of weekends over the summer. We are just waiting to see if the licence is issued. No reason why not but sometimes the MOD know things we dont.
