All,
I have been given a scrap book which belonged to my wife’s Grandfather, it has a wealth of history from the First and Second world wars. He had a very interesting time at the beginning of aviation history and then again during his time as a fighter controller during the second world war, where he wrote a small book called “Fighter Controller” which covered his time at Biggin Hill in 1941/42. If there is interest I will post some more of the pictures that are loose to try to find out a bit more history about them and his time at Biggin.
The Picture below has noted on the back Biggin Hill 1941 can anyone tell me anymore?
Many thanks!
