You may need to check what you have enabled on your web browser, i’ve had a quick look at the coding and doesn’t seem to use weird scripts other than java which you will need to have loaded to view the site. What level of security have got set on your web browser?
Nothing out of the ordinary. Firewall is on, Java is enabled, as is Javascript, plug-ins and cookies. Pop-ups are blocked, but I’ve tried both Safari and Firefox, and on both a PowerPC Mac and an Intel iMac. Perhaps it’s a Mac problem? I seem to remember I had a similar issue with my local Council’s website, and they didn’t even know it didn’t work on a Mac.
I did Google the link itself, and clicked on the cached version of the page the image is linked from http://www.1944militaria.com/waffen_ss_photos.html and it did load up, but v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y and neither the thumbnail images nor the links to the larger images worked.

That site is either down or blocked.
Doesn’t work for me with or without www or the .jpg.

I’ve been trying to click on the link in the first post for a couple of days now, and so far the link doesn’t work – is it just me, or is the site down/unavailable now?
I get the following error message:
Safari can’t open the page “http://www.1944militaria.com/wss23.jpg” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding.

Try cutting and pasting you have included ‘www’ the url doesn’t have this in the address
