Hi all
Our local Air Cadet unit has an Alvis Leonides Rotary engine as one of its training aids and I always wondered what aircraft it might be from ie type and even individual aircraft, though the latter is probably a bit too much to ask for!
Last night I had the opportunity to check the date plate and noted the following:
Alvis 138 – Possibly type no.?
Engine : 16?8 Specific engine no.?
MOS: A663464 I assume Ministry of Supply no
Any thoughts much appreciated
