Item 31) Camera gun footage indicator wedge plate mounting

Now, is this another item only the Whirly used or is it a common mounting for the CGFI that was widely used at the time, is the $64,000 question?

Can anyone help us with this, either with a good drawing or photo, or a description of how exactly it is used to mount the CGFI to it?
