Request type identity of the fuselage and cockpit in these airpics taken today at Elgin Moray Scotland…Nimrod? Jetstream?

just spotted this Nimrod nose in Elgin last week near the scrapyard but thankfully not in it.Its likely XV240.
Yep, that is definitely ‘240. (You can just see the Morayvia ‘blurb’ below the cockpit/nose end)

Sorry to hijack this thread slightly, but is anyone able to identify this chunk of aircraft taken at the Elgin scrapyard April 1993? I’m afraid i haven’t a clue! Many thanks.

Many thanks for this Dave, yes it’s quite obvious now i look at it! That is my pic of WB847 from the same day that you have referenced! I have some shots of ‘847 on the Kinloss dump before it came to Elgin which might give a clue as to whether this chunk belongs to herself. W&R might also hold more detail with regards to dates.

It’s the inner nacelle of a Shackleton.

A quick google suggests WB847 as a possible candidate
