Dear all
Following a trip to the Netherlands by our Chairman which was arranged with Cebro (thanks Cees), we were able to view some of the mortal remains of this aircraft.
With their permission we were able to bring some of the items back to the UK nearly 68 years to the day when it last left these shores. Poignantly, tonight is the 68th anniversary of the loss of this aircraft and it’s crew and I thought it worth mentioning this in way of remembrance.

I attended the Memorial Service in The Netherlands, as my uncle Sgt.Jack Henry Uden was the pilot. I have many photos of parts of the plane that have been recovered. It was my second visit to The Netherlands and also have keepsakes that were given to me. I would like to post some photos of the service and parts of the plane.
