Mystery man – 107 Squadron?

I’ve been given some photo’s again today, three of which appear to relate to the same man/family. Firstly we have Douglas, surname unknown, who appears to be a new recruit to the RAF. The Photographer appears to be a Rodney Stone of Gosport. Perhaps Douglas was at an ITW in Hampshire?

There is also a postcard from Douglas (not shown) of the SS Nevasa which was not launched until the 1950’s so he clearly survived the war.

The other photograph is of what appears to be a Boston of 107 Squadron. I can’t make out the serial. The Squadron flew Bostons from Great Massington between January 1942 and February 1944, apart from a detatchment to Malta, but the background and clothing suggests it is more likely in England?

Questions are:

1. Can anyone make out the serial?

2. Can anyone see Douglas in the group photo, and if so are there any clues to his role?

3. Really long shot, infinitessimably long, but can anyone give me his surname?

Any help, as always, greatly appreciated. The photographs came from Wolverhampton.

Regards,
