What a supurb trip ! So lucky to have been able to take part in this, the first overseas adventure for the Historical Flight Foundations DC-7B …. Huge thanks to all at Ian Allan Tours who made this possible for me !
A few of the 1500 photos !!!!
An early start at Opa locka

The cabin crew arrive !
Part of the flight crew arrive (more later)
Out to the runway …. oil spots on window !
Leaping into the air …
Inside in flight ….

Some views of the powerplants in flight …. please notice the reflections of the airframe in the engine cowlings and prop spinners !

The forward bulkhead with nobody in view !
A few engine instruments … not in a museum … not in a static exhibit … but in an actual aircraft in the air ….. flying !!
On the way we landed at San Juan, Puerto Rico, to refuel and join in with the celebrations of former Eastern Airlines employees … what a reception !! firstly being on the inside of the firecrews water arch !!
And being greeted as a celebrity ???
N836D resting at Puerto Rico …
Arriving at St Maarten …. the famous beach bar is just ahead of this photo … sorry ! many more later ?
Our totaly reliable, handsome aircraft, at rest at St Maarten, end of day one .
