Dose anyone remember the series the beeb had on during the late 1990’s titled “Airshow” from what I can remember it used to be on BBC2 on a Sunday at about 8:00-9:00pm think Brendan O’Brien was one of the presenters.
I know it’s a very long shot probably longer than Southend United getting in the first division but…
I am looking for one particular episode (I know I’m awkward) it would have been show in 1999 and featured the RNHF Swordfish flying in formation with a Sea Harrier filmed from a Sea King (not that you got to see the Sea King!)
I was lucky enough to see it being filmed at/over Southend and got some of my own footage of the Swordfish taking off being chased by the Sea King, I then got a very brief glimpse of the two pottering along the sea front whilst I was at the airport, sadly I missed the Swordfish, Sea Harrier and Sea King in formation.
So anyone have a copy or know where I might be able to find it?
