Did anyone go to the display last night? I went and thought that they did a sterling job with the aircraft displayed considering the strength of the wind. The Storch was impressive in slow flight into wind, almost standing still. The rain held off right up until the end which was a bonus.

Anyone know what will be flying at the Military Display on the 5th?
The display content is listed on their website. The Catalina is on, and so is the Classic Flight Anson, so there is the potential prospect of seeing two Ansons in the air together, to my knowledge a sight not seen for many many years.

Excellent weather.
Great flying.
Big turn-out.
Mud everywhere.
Events began with a moving tribute to Trevor Roche. A minute’s silence was observed, and flying began with his favourite aeroplane, the Sopwith Triplane.
Expect a lot of great pics on the Airshow forums.
