Hi to all,
Thought I would share a pic of this Ju-88 tail marking which recently arrived from Norway 😀
The insignia originates from Junkers Ju-88 A-5 werk number 0880601 and was with 1(F)/22 aircraft code letters were 4N+HH. Lost on the 23rd March 1942.
What I would like to ask those in the “Know” is it possible to track down previous units this aircraft served with and also delivery date to the Luftwaffe? Would be fantastic to know if it is likely to have seen any action over the UK at any time.
I guess what I really need is the Luftwaffe version of the RAF movement card, do they exist? perhaps one for Andy.

Hi Rob, the paint work is too good for a Mondeo!
Thanks, was a very welcome addition to the museum, recently got hold of a Ju-88 U/C door as well but not from the same aircraft.
Are you sure that’s not from a Ford Mondeo 😀 ? No but seriously that’s a very nice item for your museum, good find!

Hi, Unfortunately we have not been able to uncover any further info, we would have liked to have known if this a/c saw any action in the Battle of Britain or Blitz.
Hello, were you able to track the history of this JU-88?
