It got a bit crowded at Duxford yesterday, they were still queuing into the car park when the bus arrived at 10.15, to get a good variety of people less views. Unless it’s me, I’ve found that the picture stitching in panorama mode on the A580 works better when the camera is hand held in front of you rather than on a fixed swivel point on a tripod. I’ve also used the lens correction tool in Lightroom 3 to try and take out some of the curvature/distortion in the images. Many thanks to the guys recruiting in the FOD tent for the cup of tea as well.

Excellent shots Brian, clarity is exceptional : if you let your eyes scan the photos naturally, left to right,(or r-l!) any distortion is forgotten and it’s almost as good as being there! Thanks for the update, I haven’t been to Duxford since cat was a kitten, so a return trip long is overdue . Brian S. 😉

Excellent work as usual Brian !
I think the distortion adds something to the last result 🙂
As you develop this technique I’m sure we can look forward to some very interesting views during the air show season this summer !
