Caterpillar and Goldfish Clubs

Any WWII pilot who baled out into the sea was eligible to join the Caterpillar and Goldfish Clubs. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I know the Goldfish club had a recent reunion and is still attracting members.

I believe so.

Also you don’t have to be aircrew to be granted a Goldfish Club award – just to have used a dinghy or life-raft! 😉
