The past few weeks I have noticed they are demolishing the older RAF buildings at RAF Sealand, They are/were typical RAF buildings which I imagine were there since it first opened…..such a shame 🙁 Id love to go and have an explore before it all gets demolished, there looks to be quite a big underground section………Does anyone have any further info on how far the demolition is going, and also what looks like entrances to air raid shelters that backs onto the ex railway side……

Yes, they’re domolishing the pre-war buildings. I went past Wednesday evening and the old Officer’s Mess is in a right state with all the slates off the roof, half the main roof missing completely and the windows smashed out.
Sounds like game-over to me. It’s hard to get pics as you go past on a very busy road. I must try and get down and take the detour along the service road which goes to the industrial estate and right past the front gate.
I’ll try and get some this weeend.
