Hello Everyone: This year will be my first visit to Flying Legends. I wondered what you old hands consider the best spot along the crowd line to watch the flight displays.
I’ve heard that locating near the entrance of the Land Warfare Hall is a good spot. I’ve also heard that the “Tank Berm” is also good. Is the Berm wide (deep?) enough for a camp chair and a tripod?
I’ve been looking at Google maps photos of Duxford, and thought the grassy triangle in front of AAM might be a good spot.
Are there other favorite spots?

Oh he was such a pain! The funny thing was he was sat near me at RIAT a week later thankfully not to close though!
The bank can get quite full so its best to get a spot early or as said above just wonder up and down the area.

You don’t have to stay fixed in one spot, you are free to wander about over the entire length of the field.

The tank bank is a good spot, try to go around the corner in the back a bit. A lot of fighters use that corner to start there display.
