After being away from home for a few months I am catching up on the back issues of Flypast. On page 68 of the January issue is a picture of a Blenheim IV. What is the box like structure which seems to be attached to the hatch under the nose? It doesn’t seem to appear in any other pictures.
I was involved a little in the restoration of Bolingbroke 9104 at the BC Aviation museum in the late 80’s, mostly cleaning out dirt from the fuselage after it had lain in a Manitoba field for 50 years.
