I’ve just watched an episode of motoring show ‘Fifth Gear’ that had a Rover SD1 fitted with a RR Merlin, but at the end of the show they had one the obligitory anoying phone-in quiz things.
I’d like to know who to complain to as this quiz had two correct answers , although I doubt the numpty who set the question would have known.
Q. Which was a famous bomber aircraft.
a. Manchester
b. Lancaster
c. Doncaster
In my book two are famous bombers and the third one an experimemental DH type.
Could I have fallen for a very elaborate April fool’s joke?
