Gentlemen (and Gentle Ladies)….
I’m currently building a 1:72 scale model of the Bristol Brabazon – produced by a Ukrainian company called ‘Amodel’…..

It’s a big beast – but I’m getting there….

It comes with representations of the eight Bristol Centaurus engines – so I’m displaying it with the access panels open on two of them to show off the unique angled engine mountings and shafts driving the contraprops.
My question though is – where are the exhausts for the Centauri ???
I would guess that they are on the underside of the wings – but all the photos I’ve found so far have the underside in shadow – so I can’t work out where they are.
Or – is that them shown on the box art – on the upper wing trailing edge (the model does not have any provision for them as far as I can tell)
Any good info anyone ???
Thanks in anticipation.

FINALLY I got a publisher interested in the Brabazon story – which means I can release this image of the exhausts and under-wing area that night be of use!
