Is this photo of 11 Squadron, Burma or Japan

Hello
In the attached photo is former Malta Spitfire pilot John Tayleur, in the middle front row with hands on both knees. I do not know when or where it was taken. He did fly with 11 squadron over Burma and then went with the occupying forces to be based in Japan.
Can any one provide any more details please?
