Bruntingthorpe last w/e

I was at the Living history fair at Bruntingthorpe at the w/e and could hear somthing very heavy being fired up – which a/c was it? I wanted to have a look but was told there are armed guards on the airfield!!!:confused: got a nice view from the car park but still couldnt see who was being fired up.

re;

that makes sense, security tried telling me it was an air force station. At least the new business will be good revenue which is good for the airfields future – pity more air fields couldnt do the same, Scampton especially.

I think the security has been stepped up considerable with the expansion of businesses on the airfield, there are deffinately gaurd dogs on patrol not sure about the armed thing although a dog is still a good deterant
