I’ve put on-line three videos made by 1943 by Republic Aviation called ‘How to Fly the P-47’.

Here’s the link to the first one, which covers the systems….throughly grounded though. In the next two parts we get airborne in the P-47 and there’s some extremely good air-to-air camerawork even modern cameramen would be hard-pressed to beat.
