Kohat, Pakistan, today

I was spending time at Google Earth today and had a look at their satelite images of Kohat in Pakistan. Kohat was in India in the thirties and 27 and 60 Squadron were stationed there for a long time using Westland Wapitis and Hawker Hind/Hart bombers, later still Blenheims.
I was wondering if some of the buildings that can be seen there are leftovers from the RAF days. It’s probably a long shot, but maybe there’s someone here who knows his way around Kohat and could point out a few ex RAF buildings there that might be interesting. Being an Architect myself, I am always interested in RAF Architecture. I grew up on several RAF stations and have learned first hand that there certainly is such a thing. That would probably make an intersting book in itself – RAF Architecture.
Thanks.

You need to go to the AiX Forum:

There is so much about RAF architechture over there it will make you go weak at the knees. You can also learn about all the books that have already been published on the subject.
