Does anybody here know what the 400 gallon fuel tanks that could be fitted in the bomb bay of the Lancaster looked like? Any help would be great as I am building a model as part of a group build on the Britmodeller forum and need to fit a couple to my Canadian Mk10 drone controller that I am building. I have found plenty of references to these items but. alas, no pictures of them.

The tank has a green outer covering the same as the wing tanks.
As said they were used on aircraft for Air sea rescue and maritime Reconnaissance giving endurance of up to twelve hours.

Thanks Air Ministry, just what the doctor ordered! I suppose the tanks may have originally been fitted for ferrying. Anyhow, for whatever reason they were fitted to the Canadian drone carriers; a hang over from their previous MR/ASR roles perhaps?
