ASI, What Type

Does anyone know what a Smiths ASI 6A/6542 would have been fitted to?

Hi Mark,

My 1966 dated copy of Section 6A of AP1086 gives no information to what aircraft type the ASI would be fitted to.

It’s described as ‘Indicator Airspeed’ with a p/n of KAB.2301W

As it’s got such a low start point and relatively low max speed I’m guessing it maybe helicopter related.

Not much to go on I’m afriad.

Regards
Dave

I have a realy Nice one here that I might use in my Escapade Microlight G-POZA to replace the rather awkward to read unit I have at the mo.

If it from somthing interesting I might be tempted to sell it on.

Best regards
Mark
