Hello,
Does anyone know if the plans and drawings still exist for the Fairey Flycatcher, and if so, how could I go about getting a copy?
I understand that the late John Fairey built the replica which is now at Yeovilton so I assume that the drawings must be somewhere?
Any help would be greatfully received.

I believe that the RAF museum has copies of the Flycatcher drawings, but from the little I know about them they are far from complete.

You could try looking up the Great War Replica Aircraft website, and contact them.
They are developing plans for enthusiasts to build full size replicas using modern materials. The Flycatcher is one of the named projects.

The Flycatcher G-BEYB thats at FAA museum was built by Westward Aiways
( Lands End Ltd ) and carries a WA2 Serial Number, so not a PFA / LAA project.
I think this was something to do with Viv Bellamy. It might be your first port of call as I think hi sons now run the bussines. Viv built many a replica back in the 70’s and 80’s .
